But to make it less fun I've had a bad HS outbreak (Hidradenitis suppurativa) on my right thigh.
I'm not sure what set it off specifically but it's the first bad one I've had in over a year so I'm very dissapointed as you can imagine.
It is just too painful to continue dry body brushing this week it until it settles down.
Therefore I've had to revert to a technique a dermatologist gave to me in 2012 when I had my last really bad outbreak when I went to France (long haul flights started it and then all the walking made it worse). It worked wonders then, it's quickly fixed up any small flare ups I've had so I decided best to give it a go now, even though I'm trying not to use anything other than dry brushing at the moment.
It's available at chemists so if you ever have a cyst outbreak buy some of this, then make a 1 part solution to 20 parts water mixture, lie on the bed with a face wipe dipped in the liquid sitting directly on the area for at least 10 minutes to let it soak in and do it's job.
