Again I know how much you all love before photos!
I also have something called Hidradenitis suppurativa (http://www.aad.org/dermatology-a-to-z/diseases-and-treatments/e---h/hidradenitis-suppurativa/signs-and-symptoms). You can also see some pit scars (from old cysts and blocked hair follicles) and generally the skin is not smooth.
Some of the things I've already done to lessen the symptoms are wearing men's trunk undies so that there are no underwear seams or elastic anywhere near the area. I only wear tracksuit pants on planes now as jeans for that long just cause too much irritation (short flights not included). I went to the expense of getting laser hair removal on my bikini area so that additional irritation caused from waxing, shaving and ingrown hairs was eliminated. I now use a natural spray on deodorant in that general area to assist with the "sweat" glands. So far this has been working wonders but I'd like to improve the general look and feel of the area and hopefully avoid any future outbreaks. It's about my own peace of mind; I know people can't see it, it's only me it bothers at the moment.
Other areas I'm looking forward to improvement; "Chicken skin on arms" (Keratosis Pilaris), constant dry skin patches on my shins, scarring from an allergic reaction to laser hair removal on my shin, and all the other general benefits e.g. increasing circulation/lymphatic draining = breaking down unwanted toxins, sheds dead skin cells = smoother bright skin.
